Delivery Assistant

Part-time Positions – Brainerd, MN 


Tuesday through Friday

You can work 1 to 4 days per week.  However, you must be available for the entire day on the day(s) you are able to work.

7:00 am until done.

Part-time if working year-round (up to 30 hours/week).  Summer only staff will work more hours.


The responsibilities include assisting the driver in loading, delivering, and merchandising beverages and kegs.

Class A Commercial License is not required however if you possess a current clean Class A Commercial License and current medical examiners certificate you may be eligible for hourly bonus pay.

Essential Qualifications:

Possess a current and clean (within company standards) driver’s license.

Demonstrated ability to do repetitive bending, twisting and lifting of 20 – 40 lbs and occasionally up to 165 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation

Possess or have the ability to possess a forklift safety certificate

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and customers


Must pass pre-employment physical, strength test, background check and drug screening

Wage Rate: $14.00 per hour; negotiable with experience

The loading supervisor position is responsible for supervising and training the night loading staff; manage the loading function of the warehouse management system (“WMS”); maintain a valid and current Class A driver’s license and medical examiner’s certificate; and other warehouse and delivery tasks.

Type and Nature of Work

  1. Review applications and perform interviews for potential new loading employees.
  2. Train, supervise and motivate loading staff.
  3. Electronically organize the placement of loaded pallets on the various delivery vehicles utilizing the WMS
  4. Strategically monitor close-dated product to retailers and manage out of stock situations utilizing the WMS
  5. Review and send out orders to be picked utilizing the WMS.
  6. Set picking goals and monitor the results for each member of the team.
  7. Suggest changes to the WMS to enhance efficiency when possible.
  8. Assist in the picking process directly or indirectly with another loader whenever possible.
  9. Working in conjunction with your staff maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  10. Liaison with the day warehouse team to maintain the physical warehouse and WMS in an orderly and accurate manner.
  11. Shuttle vehicles to and/or from repairs shops and around the facility as needed.
  12. Shuttle product between various points (company facilities, suppliers, other wholesalers, etc.) as needed.

Supervise multiple full and part-time loading staff.

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrap machines and delivery trucks and tractors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 175 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position: Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. until the work is completed for the evening (typically before midnight) with some flexibility allowed.


No travel is expected for this position.

  1. Supervisory experience
  2. Two or more years of experience with a computerized warehouse management system.
